What Is CII?
The Community Intelligence Initiative (CII) is Happenstance Ranch’s effort to strengthen how communities understand and coordinate the resources available to them. Where our HOME, HOPE, and RECLAIM programs are built around individuals, CII is built around communities as a whole.
Why It Matters
Communities often have more resources, services, and opportunities available than residents or organizers can easily see or coordinate. CII is designed to help surface that information in a usable way.
How It Works
CII is in early, active development. As it matures, it is intended to bring together information about community resources, property, and municipal data in ways that support better-informed local decision-making and coordination.
First Implementation: Prichard, Alabama
CII’s first implementation work is taking shape in Prichard, Alabama, as we develop and test this approach. This work is in its early stages, and we look forward to sharing outcomes as it progresses.

CII may utilize specialized property and municipal intelligence developed by technical partners, including Keystone Property Intelligence LLC, where appropriate.
